Break Through Body & Weight Loss Plateaus Tips Are you Stuck? Try some of these ideas: First: Are you truly eating the best diet for your goal? Have you changed your exercise program and working out less now? Did you start cheating some? Be Honest with yourself with you actions in food and activity before you really claim to be at a plateau. This is important. Then here are some tips that may help.... Add stairs to your cardio exercises. This works great! Keep a training log. Seeing what you do and don't do is a great incentive. Get your own personal trainer to learn more and get pushed harder. If you have a hard time motivating yourself, a trainer will give you set appointments that you have to go to. Try a group training or Boot Camp Classes. You will be challenged differently and have fun working with other girls/woman who are also trying to make their bodies the best for them. Like we all are trying to do. While watching television, do push-ups and/or crunches during commercials. Not only will you be building some extra strength; you'll burn some extra calories and speeding up your own metabolism. Once or twice a week do a whole hour of cardio exercises and or change your cardio exercises - try jumping rope! Gain Core Strength. You will be leaner. You will feel stronger with out being thick. (most woman want lean, toned and strong, not thick bulky body) You will have more calories to burn every day with CORE strength and lose more body fat. (see What is Core Strength & Core Muscles?) Change your routine in resistance. If you always do 3 sets of 15 reps, do 3 sets of 20 or 4 sets or 15. Somehow change it, where you are challenging your muscles harder. There are several different exercises for each muscle group. Learn a new exercise for you and hit that muscle from a different angle. Always have your yearly check ups to be sure everything is good. Some medical conditions and not eating the proper foods that balance your blood sugar levels will interfere with weight loss. Remember your health. Your health is not a competition with others.
